shampoo is more like a soap for your hair.
conditioner puts an invisible coat on your hair.
maybe thats why. i dont know if it makes sence or not. lol.

yes this seems to be true...shampoo can be clear if it is clarifying or a gel like substance...sometimes a conditioner can be clear if it mostly protein...such as emergencee its a clear like substance used on the hair prior to shampooing...it adds strength to the hair to allow it to grow and not to break off......most conditioners are usually kind of thick so they are usually white or another colorWhy is shampoo clear but conditioner not?

shampoo cleans, and the conditioner sticks to your hair to make it smooth
